Happy Spring, We have about 1,000 Peds visits per month … and of course often have young family members of our adult patients. We do not keep toys in the waiting room all the times. Our waiting room volunteers can go into the Peds treatment area where the Child Life Specialist have set up cupboards with age appropriate items that the volunteer can bring to the children in the Waiting room. After use, the volunteer places the toys in a basin in the Toy storage area and the Child Life staff clean them and replace into the correct cupboards.
