Nurse Competency

Do nurses at your facilities complete a Self - Assessment for their competencies to perform skills pertinent to the area the work?
If so, how often is the Self-Assessment their competencies completed, at hiring and if position changed, etc.?
Does your facility conduct skill labs/fairs to check competencies? If so, how are the competencies chosen and how often are the competencies assessed/evaluated?

Thank you so much.
